Fine product literature
When words are integrated into life, literature is born from the long river of history. Literature, after years of washing, more and more like wine mellow, each taste, always can feel a kind of being covered by the moon general realm. So, how do we taste literature?
Sometimes, when we hold a good book in our hands and taste it quietly, it is as if we have entered the world depicted in the book and started to be completely immersed in it. Now we are sad and silent, now we are generous and angry, now we are happy and happy. The emotional resonance with the written works is actually a process of taste. As a writer reads “Don Quixote”, on a cloudy day, when he was a boy sitting on a long stone bench, sighing ceaselessly for his “hero”.
Therefore, taste does not have to be deliberately reflected in actions. For example, Lu Xun wrote in “From Baicao Garden to Sanwei Bookhouse”, which made people laugh. He casually picked up a book and began to read it slowly, with his head placed from the front to the back, and his voice stretched rhythmically. It is but the taste of a pedantic, and should, in fact, be called taste, just as a idle man teases a bird.
In addition, taste needs to be brewed. Many works need to go through time if they want to fully understand the connotation, until one day they gradually become clear and transparent. In the aftertaste, we will realize many things that we could not understand before. Aftertaste, is the continuation of taste and deepen, but also another taste of the starting point.
Taste the Analects of Confucius sigh “such as the deceased, not day and night”, we taste the time in a hurry not to retain; Tasting historical books and classics, we seem to stand on the broad time coordinate, see the ups and downs of history, prosperity and decline alternately; The social culture and style of the novel begin to unfold before our eyes page by page.
To savor literature is not only to savor its content, but also to savor its meaning and limitations. In the face of numerous literary works, criticism is also a kind of taste, so what kind of works can be called good works? Du Fu believed that “articles are written for the time and poems are written for the purpose”. Therefore, scholars in the Tang Dynasty also put forward the idea of “writing is written for the purpose of tao”. We can see that only works in line with the requirements of The Times, can be called real literature, or can only become text junk.
In today‘s society, we can see a group of “post-80s” writers springing up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. However, in the face of this phenomenon, I think we need not only a group of good writers who meet the requirements of The Times, but also some readers who taste literature rationally.
Literature, need to taste in order to continue its life and glory!
